first snow of the winter

beautiful

 

 

but treacherous

the day was gloomy as the snow fell

a thick covering of ice 

under all the beautiful snow

 

..........so I stayed in and cooked

warming the house and filling the bellies

found this recipe on Pinterest 

I converted it to a bread machine recipe

to knead the dough and

the rolls turned out beautiful

 

 

also made a pumpkin cheesecake

 

 

today is bright and sunny but 

the temps are in the teens

so along with the sun shining in the windows

and this

 

 

we should stay warm and toasty.
