this kaleidoscope top has been waiting to be finished

for a long time.

It's finally getting done

and should be in the shop 

by the end of the week.

I so enjoy making kaleidoscope quilts.

Somewhat depleting my ever growing bin of scraps.

The beauty of putting the squares together 

and the every changing design they create.

I've been away from my blog just WAY too long. 

Sorry.

The old computer was so painfully S L O W that 

I didn't do anything more than I had to on that.

Now I've upgraded and have awesome speed on this 

new thing.  You'll be seeing more of my projects. 

 I know it's not snowy;

not with the heat wave we've been having in the Ozarks.

 But I've been working on more pUmPkIns to add to my Etsy shop

 and found this photo from last year.

I added to the shop today.  One has already sold.

The back is chambray with stars.

All my quilts and quilted items are reversible. 

I guess it's the reason I recycle so many fabrics

into my projects I like extending the life of something. 

Having a quilt, or table runner, that is as

beautiful to display on the back as it is on the front

definitely extends the life and use.

from my buntings.
